Why is secondary school different from a high school?

Here are some differences between secondary school and high school:-
  1. Secondary schools prepare students for high schools and high schools prepare students for college and university.
  2. Subjects in secondary schools are less specialized and more generalized whereas in high schools, the subjects chosen by the students to acquire knowledge about a particular stream.
