Working the belly with weights?

hello, as someone who has been doing fitness for 6 months, I've been trying to improve my abdominal muscles. I'm weak. I read somewhere that the abdominal muscles were revealed with the best weight, I was always working with my body weight. I did the knife move at home by looking at a video today. I did it with 2 kg. My trainer said that if you work with a weight of more than two kg, you will injure your stomach and spine. Does it weigh more than two kg for 2 abs? Can working with dumbbells injure women's spine? What other abdominal exercises would you recommend I do with weights?
